I hereby apply for Membership in the Multiple Listing Service of Greater Alexandria Area Association of Realtors, Inc. and agree to the following conditions.

I am a DESIGNATED REALTORÒ Member of Greater Alexandria Area Association of Realtors, Inc _________ or a DESIGNATED REALTORÒ Member of ____________________________________________________.

I presently hold a real estate Broker’s License with the State of Minnesota or have been appointed by my broker to act on their behalf as a manager of the office. I maintain an established place of business in compliance with municipal zoning or other laws.

I have read the MLS Rules and Regulations and I agree to comply with all the provisions contained therein.

I agree to arbitrate any disputes with REALTORSÒ which might arise out of the use of the Multiple Listing Service in compliance with MLS Rules and Regulations and the Bylaws of Greater Alexandria Area Association of Realtors, Inc and agree to abide by the REALTORSÒ Code of Ethics of the National Association of REALTORSÒ . I agree to submit to all ethics hearings and arbitration request filed with the Association in which I obtain MLS access but am not an association member.

As a MLS member only I agree to abide by the dues structure for MLS Services of Greater Alexandria Area Association of Realtors

I agree to attend, along with associates and staff, an orientation meeting at which time MLS Rules and Regulations and policies of MLS will be reviewed.

I agree to pay the $600.00 initial participation fee for new MLS participants before the time the MLS Service commences. I further understand and agree that I will be individually responsible for the prompt payment of all MLS membership dues, service charges and fees incurred by myself and/or other members of my firm during the period in which I am an MLS Participant. I agree that my responsibility will continue even if I should terminate my association with my present firm. I further understand and agree that the Multiple Listing Service may be discontinued if MLS bills are not promptly paid by the 25th of each month and that all outstanding monthly charges must be paid together with a reinstatement fee before any Service will be reinstated.

I agree to release Greater Alexandria Area Association of Realtors and its Multiple Listing service, their officers, directors, committee members, employees and agents from any claim for demand arising from my active participation in the Multiple Listing Service.

GUARANTY

For value received, the undersigned firm guarantees unconditionally the payment of all obligations incurred by or on behalf of the above Designated REALTORÒ Member of the firm or of the firm to Multiple Listing Service of North Metro REALTORSÒ Association and hereby waives any notice of default.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION CONCERNING MEMBERSHIP IN MLS

Memberships in the Multiple Listing Service are held in the name of the Designated REALTORÒ Member who signs the application. Whenever the Designated REALTORÒ Member disassociates themselves from the firm for which a membership in MLS is held, a new application must be submitted to the MLS Committee. This must be done within thirty (30) days of the date of disassociation by the Designated REALTORÒ Member designated as the MLS participant. Under the following conditions, and only under these conditions, will the payment of the initial entry fee be waived:

That the DESIGNATED REALTORÒ member to whom the membership in MLS is to be transferred was one of the original principals when the firm was organized and has held active REALTORÒ membership in the association since the firm was organized.

That the DESIGNATED REALTORÒ member to whom the membership in MLS is to be transferred has been affiliated with the firm for one or more years and has held active membership in the association for that same period of time.
